Urban Development Department

The Urban Development Department of the City Government of Makati is currently in need of competitive personnel to fill in vacant positions in our organization.

We are looking for applicants who are Civil Service eligible with the listed requirements and will be tasked to perform the following duties:

Multimedia Specialist:
• 
Knowledgeable in Adobe Photoshop, Macromedia Flash, PowerPoint, and other multimedia editing software
• 
With knowledge in visual communication and art production
• 
Responsible for designing and developing multimedia instructional materials for computer-based training, software, websites, online systems and other delivery platforms
• 
Identifies and plans appropriate instructional design strategies and objectives based on analysis of tasks
• 
Determines content sequence and creates content outlines and treatment approaches for written, virtual, and audio content
• 
Conducts task analysis and determines performance criteria
• 
Develops evaluation strategies and instruments
• 
Coordinates on the preliminary project discussions to ensure appropriate content development
• 
Ensures team conformance with instructional objectives
• 
Designs and develops related materials such as manuals and instruction guides
• 
Performs other related functions
   
Creative Arts Specialist
•
Knowledgeable in Adobe Photoshop, Macromedia Flash, PowerPoint, and other multimedia editing software
•
Executes art design requirements and submits designs and layout studies for promotional materials
•
Researches and conceptualizes plans and executes physical arrangements for different needs
•
Extends to other art services requirements
   
Licensed Civil Engineers
•
 Male
•
 Not more than 30 years old
•
 Preferably Makati resident
   
Programmers
• 
 Knowledgeable in Java and PowerBuilder
   
Researchers and Document Analysts
• 
Preferably with background in Economics, Project Management, Transport Management, Physical/Land Use Planning, Social Development, among others
• 
Not more than 30 years old
• 
Preferably Makati resident.

International Relations Department

The International Relations Department of Makati is looking for highly competent individuals who have a profound sense of responsibility, loyalty, and deeply motivated to contribute to the development of Makati . Applicants must:

• 
hold a Bachelor's degree relative to economic development; public/international relations; investment & trade promotion; and/or tourism;
• 
have excellent English, oral and written, communication and presentation skills;
• 
have exceptional working habits and proven ability to multi-task and to work under pressure;
• 
be Civil Service eligible;
• 
be 21-28 years of age; and
• 
preferably a resident of Makati City

be Civil Service eligible;

•

be 21-28 years of age; and

•

preferably a resident of Makati City .
